Make your pledge
The weekends have always been relaxing for me, as long as I don't have to do anything else that is related to work or social outing. I love staying at home, waking up a bit later than usual, and having breakfast in bed. Such luxuries don't come by easily for some people which is why I treasure my free time as much as I can.

I started the morning with cleaning my room once again. This time I have finally discarded the rubbish bags which have been accumulated since last year. My room now looks much more spacious and I feel more at ease with things in order as according to what I want. I could do with less dust in the room but somehow that is not going to happen unless I move everything out and vacuum every inch of the room.

I can't wait to own a house! Granted that it is quite dear to buy a house but I still have to take that line of path eventually and as any Cancerians would agree, home is where our hearts be. Ideally I would like a two floors house - a bedroom for my parents on ground floor (ergonomically for my eldery parents to allow easier access and prevent risk of falling); a room for the maid (if any); a dining room; a living room; a kitchen (this has to be cleverly built); 4 bedrooms upstairs - a master bedroom for myself; a bedroom each for my sisters; a guest room; and maybe a small living room for private functions (ahem). Each bedroom must come with its own toilet and shower. I haven't thought about the outside area but it should have ample parking space to accommodate visitors during festive season like CNY.

All that is left is to put the plan into motion! I guess I will need at the very minimum of B$250K to begin with. Probably another B$50K for miscellaneous items such as drapes, furniture, utensils, electronic stuff, etc. Not forgetting air conditioners! I can foresee that the maintenance bill will be quite steep every year.
Nonetheless it is a dream I intend to fulfill, no matter how long it takes. This is my pledge!

Speaking of which, local readers please visit here to make your pledge in preserving the environment. I have made mine last week and I am now more aware of what I have been doing is harmful to the environment for e.g. wasting unnecessary amount of water, using too many plastic bags, driving instead of walking, and many more. It is high time we band together and think about the future. Every little bit that we do will go a long way so start the new week by making the pledge. Save the environment, save the world.

Faithful readers would have known that I have been yearning for HTC TyTN II but now I have changed my mind once again after I came to know about this savvy new phone from Sony Ericsson, ladies and gentlemen, I proudly (with drools) present:

SE Xperia 1, undoubtedly the best phone since iPhone (OK, maybe not but still a worthy contender). Click here and especially here for more specifications and pictures. What I like about this phone is that it runs on Windows Mobile 6 which is essential for me as opposed to other operating system. It's probably not going to be released until the 3rd quarter of the year so I will have plenty of time to save up (given the fact that I have already used up a large credit limit for my laptop). For now I will have to stick to my trustworthy W810i although it has been dying on me every now and then.

Time for a change?
