Expectations & cakes
Lots of photoblogging today! Seems that I have been consuming too many cakes lately. I dread to weight myself tomorrow, not that I am that concerned about it but if I ever want to marry a pretty woman, I must first look after myself, don't you all agree? LOL! I just came back from lunch with Flo and our parents, unfortunately our mum chose to dine at Seri Kemayan instead. We had veal with ginger and onions, sizzling tofu with minced chicken, salad prawn, kangkong with belacan and I forgot what were the soup ingredients. Anyway, I will leave you with the following photos. Enjoy!

No one believe their lives will turn out just kind of okay. We all think we're going to be great, and from the day we decided to be someone, we are filled with expectation. Expectation of the trails we will blaze, the people we will help, the difference we all make, great expectation of who we will be, where we will go. And then we get there.

We all think we're going to be great and we feel a little bit robbed when our expectations aren't met. But sometimes our expectations sell us short. Sometimes the expected simply pales in comparison to the unexpected. You gotta wonder why we cling to our expectations, because the expected is just what keeps us steady, standing... still. The expected is just the beginning, the unexpected is what changes our lives.
