Update

Wow, it has been more than a week since I last blogged that I swear sometimes I have forgotten that this site existed. The past one week has been somewhat hectic for me, trying to juggle the time between a few things in my life. Although there hasn't been much change since last blog, I have learned some valuable lessons which will prove to be the stepping stones to maturity.
On my dad's condition
Th doctors have finally carried out every single test known to humans for my dad, ranging from CT scan to colonscopy. They have taken pints of blood for the last two weeks, supplied large dosage of antibiotic intravenously, prescribed heaps of coloured pills, and given numerous ward rounds. The pain in the foot persists up to this very day. However, since I know a lot of people working at the ward, my dad has received the best quality of care from the multidisciplinary team. I am grateful for their input and I hope they will continue to provide the good service.
On money
I am running low on cash this month. However I have managed to pay off every bill and I still haven't used my ang pao money. I was paid by ***** last month but it was only 2 months' wages. Better than nothing I suppose. I used part of the money to buy a new PS2 after pondering for a while. I have been sacrificing my own well being for other people ever since last year and I think I deserve a treat, or the very least getting something that will keep me contended. I may not have the time to play any game but it is nice to that there is something for me to do when I need a break. Good news is I will be able to save up using the commission I earn from ***** and my private students. I plan to invest in a few internet programs as the recent good one was shut down due to unforseen circumstances. People always say money makes the world goes round. I am beginning to see why.
On car and mechanical defects
My car is making odd sound when I steer to the right. Kevin would know about it since he has heard it every time I sent him home after tuition. It doesn't concern me that much but I suppose I should have it checked out before serious damage is done. It sounds like two pieces of metal coming in contact with each other continuously, causing friction and hence the screeching sound. I am wondering how much would it cost to replace whatever that needs to be replaced. Come to think of it, I don't even know how it comes about. Must be the time when I went over the hump at Chempaka because I didn't realise it was too high and I literally dragged the underneath of the car over it. Dodododododo...
On work and tuition
Nothing to add about work. It is still the same. My time management is seriously flawed. It's so hard to prioritise nowadays. Unfinished tasks are building up. Tuition is going well, thank heaven!
On being glamourous
I received a letter about 2 weeks ago and I was asked to go on national TV live to talk about my profession. And I thought having my face printed in the newspaper was exciting, this is even great! Santy will be so jealous of me! Hahaha! But seriously it's nerve racking to talk in front of the camera and it has to be in Malay medium. That is definitely not going to be easy! I am not sure of the date yet but I will inform you all when the time comes.
On catching up with drama series and blockbuster movies
Lost, Desperate Housewives, House, CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, 24, Naruto, and Bleach. Brokeback Mountain, Fun with Dick and Jane, Hoodwinked, Underworld, The Family Stone, and Hostel. How the heck am I suppose to find time watching all these?
On wireless surfing
My uncle who lives in the same house has installed a wireless router on my Espeed line. It works well except that when it comes to downloading stuff using bittorrents, it screws up pretty badly. Make that UTTERLY bad. Absolutely nothing can be downloaded or uploaded. I have to unplug the wireless router and connect my laptop directly to the modem like before. Oh well. I guess anyone with a wireless function laptop can surf at my place now. That reminds of the new laptop my sister bought recently. One of the coolest features, oh wait, make that the only coolest feature it has is the fingerprint secuity. Only she can access to the laptop and I guess I will have to chop off her finger if I ever need to use it. Hmm... interesting concept.
On examinations
The result for the examinations I sat last year for ***** was out this afternoon. I am pleased to say that I have passed *Exam A* but failed miserably in *Exam B*. I guess I am not cut out to follow rules and regulations but I am extremely adept in financial stuff. Hehehe! Ironically I studied *Exam B* for more than 3 days but only less than 12 hours for *Exam A*. Hahaha! Dodododododo... I will have to retake *Exam B* this June. Argh!
On saying sorry
There is one type of people who I detest the most. People who do something wrong to me, apologise sincerely and then repeat the same mistake. I mean, what is the point of saying sorry when you are doing the same thing again? I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know. Please don't say you're sorry, I've heard it all before and I can take care of myself. I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know. Please don't say "forgive me", I've seen it all before and I can't take it anymore. Don't explain yourself coz talk is cheap, there's more important things than hearing you speak. I listened to your lies and all your stories. Don't explain yourself, you'll never see!!!
Ok, I think that is all for now. I will blog again when I get the chance. Today I am lucky coz my class is cancelled. I get to rest for a bit and later I have to fetch my mum from the hospital at 10pm. Until next time, have a great week!
